WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

You will join a remarkably successful privately owned B2B events business who serve the IT Infrastructure sector.

The business was set up in 2010 and since then has grown to 26 people and now holds over 20 events globally. 

This is a fantastic business to work for if you want to make a real tangible difference to a business and be rewarded for your success. 
The company are based in East London, with great transport links to Liverpool Street.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Working as the Business Development Manager you will be a key member of the commercial team, you will sell packages across multiple events, digital and content products. The role will involve some travel to international events. 

  • You should be commercially astute and work closely with the Event Director to revise and develop new revenue streams and sponsorship opportunities.
  • You will be creating detailed sales plans for your territory and executing the plan in a strategic way 
  • Your key focus will be the EMEA region, however you will work closely with colleagues in other locations 
  • You will maximise sales by cultivating deep knowledge and positive relationships with your clients 
  • You will need to keep up to date with industry trends and news and use this info to generate new leads 
  • You will be expected to provide a high level of customer service and account management at all times
  • Keep salesforce up to date

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

In order to be considered as the Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven record in B2B media or events sponsorship sales 
  • The ability to work to a structured sales process and be able to replicate this with multiple clients 
  • Build relationships at C-suite and have the tenacity to find and engage with senior people and close the business. 
  • Have a natural consultative and inquisitive approach, using initiatives to identify client’s needs to the right package
  • You will need to be a creative and innovative with the ability to devise new options to suit clients
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to network
  • International sales experience would be a plus.
