WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

The company are a world leading provider of information, they deliver this though events, training, market intelligence and publishing expertise.

They are based in multiple locations throughout the Globe and are headquartered in London. This role sits in one of their most exciting and buoyant sectors – Life Sciences.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This is a team who love to celebrate success. The portfolio is highly successful and the events associated with this role have a rebooking percentage of over 90%.

This role is a hybrid role with a great balance between account management and new business. You would be able to build high level relationships with businesses operating in the Life Sciences sector, such as GSK and Pfizer.

You will be focussed on selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities as part of a truly international team you will work closely with the US office, taking regular team building and client meetings trips. You will be managing sales for existing clients and building new business streams.

You will also be:

  • Generating new business in line with set targets
  • Growing existing relationships and cross-selling
  • Developing a consultative sales approach and be able to provide insightful advice to clients
  • Produce high quality and creative sales proposals
  • Liaise with Marketing, Ops and production functions
  • Keep the Salesforce system updated

WHAT DO YOU NEED? 

You already have the ability to build rapport with customers and you may also have experience with events sales. If you can speak a European language that is a plus, but you are definitely confident, self-motivated and determined.

You will also have:

  • Experience in a B2B sales role, delegate sales, advertising sales or exhibitions sales
  • Experience in consultative selling and objection handling
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Creativity and initiative in a sales role
  • Motivated and target driven
  • Excellent proposal writing skills
