WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?

You'll be joining a global events business, which delivers incomparable exhibitions and festivals worldwide. These events bring communities together to trade, network and learn, with the overall goal to produce valuable events that make a meaningful impact on everyone involved. In this position, you will join a team that runs an outdoor living trade show.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As the International Key Account Manager, you will be in charge of launching a special concession at the company's flagship retail trade show. Your main role will be to work with existing customers, selling exhibition space for the launch of this concession. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Successfully achieving and exceeding specified targets and performance objectives for International accounts
  • Effectively handling all interactions and relationships with key and strategically important customers, to grow the business
  • Making calls and visits to existing clients to build relationships, deliver excellent customer service and maximise additional revenue opportunities
  • Being deeply knowledgeable about market, customers, competitors and products in order to sell creative solutions and deliver exceptional customer value

Additionally, you'll work closely with both teams leading up to the launch, having strategic input into the development of the concession. WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have experience in the following:

  • Being strategic and target driven whilst being a key account manager
  • Retaining key accounts and managing them strategically, with long term partnership and investment objectives
  • Proven track record selling to an international client base 
  • Language skills preferred, ideally in German, Spanish or French
  • Some experience selling exhibition space or conference sponsorship is ideal
  • Having the ability to challenge at senior levels
